Every year, organizations invest a lot in learning interventions — yet much of that investment may underperform. There can be many reasons for that to happen, but one simple reason is: the wrong instrument is applied to the right problem. Here are 3 examples, A skill gap is met with a motivational workshop; a mindset challenge is met with a two-day training; a high-potential leader who needs a mentor is assigned an e-learning module.
