Including defining strategy, conceptualizing, driving software development, implementing QbD aligned features, gathering requirements & implementing functionalities. Defining pricing, bundling, training & marketing material, collaborating with instrument vendors, conducting Webinars. Creating documentation for SDLC and SOPs.

Spearheaded launch of informatics unit for a life sciences technology company, creating Bioinformatics and Cheminformatics brands. Set a new technology trend in the market with simulation & modelling software. Leading with a techno-commercial role and creating a sales-network for South Asian Region and driving the business in the R&D community.

Sales Manager | South Asia

2001 - 2003

Established the new Indian business unit, to multi-million dollars, expanding it into South Asia. Created a new market segment in Drug Discovery & Material Science research industry. Established the business to record the first Million $ from the South Asian geography. Exceeded targets for both the years. Introduced 1st Bioinformatics Education program with the Dept. of Biotechnology. Worked in collaboration with hardware vendors to expand reach.

Worked with the famous Parke-Davis (which later became Pfizer) in the ethical products marketing group. Managing a profit center of a large branch executing middle-management for smooth operations of sales and distribution team.

Achieved 37% and 63% YoY growth while managing a team of 15 sales people driving 30 distributors and resellers.

1999 - 2001

Worked with #1 Indian Pharma company in the ethical products marketing group, Managing a group of Medical representatives for the largest per capita revenues. It was in the capacity of front line-management for smooth operations of sales and distribution team. This is where I earned the experience of sales and sales-management.
